  • 1981    DGP began sponsorship of a new Scottish Golf tournament, the Scottish Under-25 Professional Championships
  • 1984    DGP established sponsorship of both the Glasgow Youths Amateur/Professional Championship and the Scottish Boys Under-16 Championship
  • 1985    DGP headquarters moved to its premises in Giffnock to expand its engineering department and create a larger workshop space
